Scary...or..Not
This weekend my friend and I went and saw the new scary movie, Friday the 13th. I was really excited to go see it because from the looks of the previews it was going to be extremely scary, and although I'm probably one of the easiest people in the world to scare, I love scary movies. To be honest though, I was a little bit disappointed in it. It was scary but it wasn't as scary as I thought it was going to be and some of the things in the story kind of confused me a little. I would still tell people to go watch it because it was good, it just wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be.

Winter Wonder Land
The snow that we got over the last week or so was probably the largest snow I've ever seen in Pike County, that I can remember, and I loved it! The first day or so I didn't much care for it because I couldn't get out of my drive way, but once my driveway was cleared I loved to get to drive around and look at all of it. I also loved it because for the first time I actually got to go sledding, which provided many laughs in my life.
The best thing that happened during the snow was on Wednesday when Kris and I went driving around town looking at how bad all the roads were and at all the cars covered in snow. While driving down Main Street we saw this man on the side of the road beside the antique store and his car was completely covered in snow. The snow literally was all the way up to the windows of his car and he was out there in extremely tight sweatpants, and purple sweatshirt, and a hat, and had his little shovel, trying to dig his car out. I know it was mean to laugh at him but it was probably one of the funniest things I'd ever seen in my life! I tried to get a picture of him when we drove back by but due to my cameras delayed reaction I only got the back end of his car. That by far was one of the funnier things that happened on my week off of school.
